Mansalu circuit trekking
Manaslu region is protected under the Mansalu Conservation Area also known as MCAP.The Manaslu region offers a variety of trekking routes. The177 kilometres (110 mi) masaly circuit is the most popular among the trekkers. The Nepalese Government only permitted trekking of this circuit in 1991. The trekking trail follows an ancient salt-trading route along the Budi Gandaki River . The highest point reached along the trek route is the larkhe - La at an elevation of 5,106 metre.Trek Starts from Arughat and extending into the Larkhe La pass and end over Besisahar. The Mansalu Trek is so diverse and multi cultural that you will pass over Annapurna region as well.The mountain's long ridges and valley glaciers offer feasible approaches from all directions, and culminate in a peak that towers steeply above its surrounding landscape, and is a dominant feature when viewed from afar.
Opened only after 1991 for foreigners, Manaslu circuit trek is one of the most astonishing and ethnically attractive treks of Nepal’s Himalaya.
