our trip to Annapurna base camp was hugely successful. our time in kathmandu ,transfers, hotels, etc. was very well organized and everything ran smoothly. Amar was an exceptional guide and bent over backwards for us to help, couldn’t fault him on anything. exceptional service the whole way through the trip.
the mountains were beautiful. amazing scenery plus great view.
we will definitely recommend Himal mandap and Amar to any of our friends or family who wish to come to Nepal.

It was a really great experience trek to ABC. We discovered many wonderful things like landscape,people,wildlife….
It was a good experience shared with our guide Dhan Bhadur. Meals was awesomme, specially mix springroll and Veg MoMo.

“It was a really good trip to Annapurna.Although it wasn’t the toughest trekking oppertunity, it was fantastic.
In 4 days we managed to see remarkable things, things we have never seen before. We were very fortunate to have a fantastic guide! His English was good, stamina was excellent and when we were wondering about something He always had an answer. We must say that Himal Mandap has Well trained him.

“I highly recommend Himal Mandap treks and expedition ltd.
Dhruba, the manager director, is a confident and knowlegable young man. He has sound understanding of the different activities the company offers and he is able to help you organise your trip in Nepal, fitting your schedule as well as your individual interests.
Kaylan, the trekking guide, is a friendly and selfless yound man with an infestious smile. He is extensive knowledgle around the trek and friendly with the locals and other trekking guides. This offered me an opportunity not only to enjoy the unique scenary, it also gave me a chance to hear stories from other guides and get a brief understanding of how everyone copes with the treks.
I am particularly impressed by Dhruba’s calmness and efficiency in handling difficult and unexpected situations. My flights to Lukla were cancelled two days in a row due to weather conditions. He was able to rebook me into the flight for the next days. The domestic airport check-in was chaotic, it is not for the novice traveller, yet, Dhruba was able to contact people directly from the airline and help me bypass all those obstacles in the airport and check in with minimal effort.
Further more, I ran into troubles during the trek and had to be resuced by choppers back to Kathmandu. Luckly, Dhruba was in regular contact with Kaylan during the trek and they were able to evaluate my situation, change the plan, organise the choppers resuce and hospital trasport. It was comforting to know that I was in good hand and not having to worry. He also liaised directly with my insurance company to arrange payments, which gave me a peace of mind and I was able to just relax and recover.
To reiterate, I highly recommend Himal Mandap. I am certain the Dhruba, Kaylan, and the company as a whole, would be able to help you make the best out of your trip and you will no doubt enjoy the excitment and amazment Nepal has to offer.
